We Save You Time and Resources By Curating Relevant Information and News About Farm to Table Restaurants.

I don’t recall when I encountered my first farm-to-table restaurant, although I’m pretty sure it was when I was really young. I grew up on the plains of Illinois in the land of Lincoln, where farmers and their products had a heavy influence on the culture, the society, and the eating establishments.

I remember spending the summer of 1983 on my uncle’s farm in Minnesota, where I helped raise a mixture of about a couple hundred chickens, ducks, rabbits, and geese. I’m not sure who helped who, but I learned a lot about rearing and raising from the animals, the birds, and the bunnies that summer.

Now, I live on the top of a small mountain in Tennessee, where we have had domestic chickens for a bit. They run around our property and the property of our neighbors most of the day and then find their way home at night.

I’m building this site in memory of all of these wonderful experiences and as a way to frame my studies for all these backyard bunnies.

The Farm-To-Table Restaurant movement is growing as people strive to purchase and consume food that is sourced in their local communities, and I want to understand and follow the growth.

In any case, I hope you enjoy my public collection of online farm-to-table research, news, and information.
